Application Process
Application deadline is May 1 for admission into the summer session. Please note that our graduate level program begins with the summer session (classes begin in late May).
If applying to Dual MSAT/DPT degree program, application deadline is October 17 and you must apply to each program individually. Click our Physical Therapy link or contact Linda Burrow, admissions coordinator for PT, at lburrow@su.edu for more details on the PT admissions process.
Applicants must complete the Graduate Admission application plus all forms required by the Division of Athletic Training. The fastest way is to apply online, but application packets are also available with the items listed below included. Please send your name and mailing address to kgross@su.edu.

- Transcript Self-Evaluation Form
- Guidelines for Technical Standards
- Recommendation Form
(three are required: a certified athletic trainer, coaches, employers, professors or other health care providers.) - Essay
- A list of all sports that you have participated in as an athlete, coach, referee, manager or athletic training student.
