Teacher Licensure

The Office of Education Outreach provides professional and licensure courses approved by the Virginia Department of Education for teacher licensure, special education and recertification. Many of these courses are available in Winchester, Leesburg, Hampton, and online.

Shenandoah University's Office of Education Outreach, in the School of Education and Human Development, offers professional courses accepted by the Virginia Department for Teacher Licensure. You will also see a variety of recertification courses. Many of these courses are available via distance learning each trimester.
