The Virginia Council of Teacher of Mathematics (VCTM) has announced that Dr. Elaine Magee, assistant professor of mathematics at SU, has been selected to receive the 2010 VCTM William C. Lowry Mathematics Educator of the Year Award for for the university

The Virginia Council of Teacher of Mathematics (VCTM) has announced that Dr. Elaine Magee, assistant professor of mathematics at Shenandoah University, has been selected to receive the 2010 VCTM William C. Lowry Mathematics Educator of the Year Award for the university level. The award will be presented at the VCTM Awards Dinner on March 12 at the 2010 VCTM Math Conference at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va. Magee joined the faculty at SU in 2000. Her areas of expertise are mathematics education and calculus.
